Our Summer Update

Life has been good! We are approaching one year of marriage (next month) and really excited about that! Even though its summer, life hasn't slowed down one bit. Actually kind of the opposite!

In April, Seth finished up his first year of law school and honestly it went by so quickly! Only two years to go now. He started his internship working downtown at the public defense office. He really loves it there and has some cool stories to share from his experiences!

I'm still keeping busy with my photography business and its only going to get busier and busier with all the family sessions coming up during the summer. In fall, I have a wedding just about every single weekend so I am just mentally preparing for all of that! I'm also starting school in August which I'm really excited for!

June was a very busy month, I was out of town for half of it. I went to North Carolina and Georgia to visit some family. Then we both went to Utah for a family reunion (check out the video I made of all the fun!). The week after, I went back to Utah for a quick trip for my friends wedding which was beyond beautiful!

July is much more relaxing for us. We went to the San Diego Fair together and realized we are starting to turn into old folk. We rode a bunch of rides which resulted in some major headaches accompanied with some throwing up at the end of the night. On the Fourth of July, we rested at home to avoid the crowds at the beach and made some burgers together. Since our dog Beach is scared of fireworks, we just watched a movie to drown out the sound of the fireworks. It was a nice day!

I turn 23 this month, and for my birthday we are going camping to the Channel Islands! I'm really looking forward to it but I still have to plan what we will do while there! I'll be sure to make my own guide for it once we get back since there honestly isn't a ton of information online about it.

Other than that, we don't have any travel plans for the rest of the summer! Like I said just trying to relax mostly before fall comes! BUT some of Seths family is coming to visit at the end of the month and we are excited to spend time with them (maybe hitting some spots off of my San Diego Travel Guide!)

We took these pictures last month with Aubree Carter and I love them!
