I am THRILLED to share these images with you! I put my heart into this shoot all for those adorable alpacas. I'm so grateful to have found Scott and Monet from Alba Alpacas, who were just as excited as I was about this shoot. It couldn't have been more fun! I really don't know if I'll ever be able to top this shoot. Scott and his wife are local Alpaca Farmers located in Ramona, they are as nice as can be and are total experts on all things alpacas. Scott originally set out to raise horses, as encouraged by his father. But then changed his mind once he realized all the cost as well as the dangers of raising these animals. He was then introduced to the world of Alpacas and fell in love with them instantly. They currently are owners to 22 beloved alpacas, these alpacas are show winners and provide high quality fur that is shaved in the springtime as it starts to get hot. A few weeks after the shoot my husband and I were kindly invited to visit Scott and Monet's home and to see their farm. They have chickens, bunnies, dogs, goats and of course alpacas. The night before we came, was an exciting one for Scott and Monet. One of their alpacas was born just that very night, so we got to see a less than day old alpaca! Dream come true.
So fun right?!! I couldn't have done it without such an amazing group of vendors (as well as some gorgeous models... thanks Olivia, Nick and Mikah!) to collaborate with, if you see anything you liked, here is their information below. I'm so lucky to be able to work with the best of the best in the industry so I highly reccomend everyone of these companies.
